Level 2: Gravel lanes with washouts and potholes, eroded open trails, occasional deep ruts, firebreaks, dry river courses, simple river crossings, single trails without steep ascents or descents. Suitable for novices. Level 3: Rutted gravel lanes, eroded open trails with water holes, single trails with tight turns as well as extreme ascents and descents, demanding river and stream crossings. With longer, easier passages in between. Riding experience in the area recommended. |

France is a country steeped in the tradition of classic enduro sport. That’s no wonder either, with its sparsely populated mountain regions lending themselves perfectly to tours of discovery. Our accommodation is in Mende and our local tour guide will be showing us the most scenic areas of his homeland. Much time will also be devoted to sampling the local cuisine, which always plays a major role in enduro riding in France.
